TAKING ACTION & ONGOING EFFORTS
PRG Hospitality Group has partnered with Accessibe to administer our digital accessibility program and oversee its governance. Their accessibility program evaluates and audits our digital products on an ongoing basis in accordance with best practices and is supported by a diverse team of accessibility professionals, including users of assistive technologies. Accessibe’s Accessibility widget utilizes various technologies that are meant to make our website as accessible as possible at all times, utilizing an interface that allows persons with specific disabilities to adjust the website’s UI (user interface) and design it to their personal needs. Additionally, the website utilizes an AI-based application that runs in the background and optimizes its accessibility level constantly. This application remediates the website’s HTML, and adapts its functionality and behaviors for screen-readers used by blind users, and for keyboard functions used by individuals with motor impairments. It also offers profiles that can adapt to be seizure safe, ADHD friendly, and assist those with cognitive disabilities or vision impairment.
